When 911 happened, the United States signed into law the Patriot Act, which allowed the government to archive every U.S. citizen's "metadata" which includes every phone call, e-mail, web search, text message, our GPS location - basically all of our communication.

Now we can't even board a plane without getting frisked.  How is our government supposed to protect us otherwise?  Where is the balance?  Ben Franklin once said "Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety."

It appears that every time a terrorist attacks, the government is justified in limiting our privacy and freedoms.  This is a never ending cycle.  When, where and how does it end?

"Hands up don't shoot!" - The black lives matter movement began  when the black community protested the death of 18 year old Michael Brown whose friend claimed he was shot by a white cop while his hands were in the air.

After a thorough investigation of the Ferguson P.D. and the Obama Department of Justice, it was determined that Michael Brown (who had just committed robbery and assault on a liquor store) attacked white officer Darren Wilson who shot 6'9, 300 pound Brown in self defense.

The common phrase "Hands up don't shoot!" continues to this day at protests even though the narrative has been proven to be not true.

The irony is that only a fraction of a percentage of deaths to black people are caused by police.  The vast majority of black deaths are from institutions like planned parenthood, founded by Margaret Sanger an avowed racist; and America's inner cities overwhelmingly as the result of liberal policies of the Democratic party (i.e., Baltimore, Detroit, New Orleans, Camden etc.)

ET Yabutt : It costs 16 trillion dollars, the U.S. is about the only country to pay for it, and the only one that is agreeing to cut back on emissions.  It seems to me the poorest people will not be able to afford gas or heat.
